The Skimlite CL617L CarbonLite is a carbon fiber telescopic pole that runs from 6 ft to 17 ft and locks with a lever. Skimlite rates it as the strongest pole they make, the product of a proprietary manufacturing process for the carbon fiber sections.
Why carbon fiber
Fully extended with a heavy vac head on the end, the pole shows virtually no bend. That matters when you are pushing a loaded vac across a deep end all day: an aluminum or fiberglass pole flexes, wanders and tires you out, while this one stays straight and light in the hands.
Who it suits
This is a tool for the dedicated service professional, anyone running heavy vac systems or simply wanting a pole that is both stronger and lighter than the industry standard. It costs more than a standard pole, and it is built to justify that on the route.
