The Pentair 78887700 is the vinyl liner mounting bracket for AquaLumin III pool lights, with a 3/4 inch hub. It is the genuine Pentair part.
What the bracket does
On a vinyl liner pool the light does not sit in a cast niche. The bracket is the piece that carries the light body at the wall and holds it square, so a bracket that has cracked or lost its grip leaves the light loose and badly aimed.
Before you order
Check two things: that the light is an AquaLumin III, and that the hub on your run is 3/4 inch. This listing is the bracket alone, so bulbs, the bracket cup and the mounting nut are separate Pentair parts.
