The Merlin Industries 30124 is a small aboveground pool staircase in Blue Granite, fitted with one handrail. It measures 42.5 inches by 28.5 inches by 40.5 inches.
Sizing it to the pool
This is the small unit in the range, which matters when deck space or pool wall height limits what will fit. Check the three dimensions against your deck and the top rail before ordering, because a staircase that does not sit square is uncomfortable to use and hard to secure.
Handrail and finish
The single handrail gives a hand hold at the point where footing is least certain, at the top of the stairs. The Blue Granite color is a mottled finish rather than a flat solid, which hides scuffing and waterline marks better than a plain color does.
Naming
Merlin lists this staircase under both the Aqua Staircase and the Duke Staircase names, so you may see either used against part number 30124. An installation guide is provided with the unit.
