The Hayward CX1200RE is the genuine replacement filter cartridge for the Star-Clear Plus C-1200, with 120 square feet of media.
Why the factory cartridge
Hayward builds its cartridges to the standards its filters were engineered around. The cores are precision molded and extruded, which keeps hydraulic efficiency high and holds the pleats in shape under flow instead of letting them collapse together. The result is strong first pass debris removal and a cartridge that lasts.
Fit and buying
This is the 120 sq ft cartridge for the C-1200. Hayward also offers the cartridge in economical 4 pack configurations for filters that take multiple elements. Rinse the pleats when the pressure gauge climbs, and replace the cartridge once cleaning no longer brings the pressure back down.
