The Hayward CX900RE is the genuine 90 sq ft replacement cartridge element for the Star Clear Plus C900 cartridge filter. It measures 9-1/16 in. across and 17-3/8 in. tall.
Why the OEM element
Hayward builds these cartridges to its own performance standards for Hayward filters. The molded and extruded core is engineered for hydraulic efficiency and stays rigid under pressure, and the media is chosen for strong first pass debris removal and long life between cleanings.
Before you order
Check the old cartridge against the dimensions above. The Star Clear Plus line uses a different element for each tank size, so the 9-1/16 in. by 17-3/8 in. measurement is what confirms the C900 fit.
